Who We Are
Jacob’s Memorial Heart Fund was created in 2016 in honor of Jacob Campbell’s heroic heart and life journey, and through a trusted association with Jamie’s Heart Foundation.
Purpose of Fund
To provide support through:
- A “Heart Hero” Scholarship to local CHD students and/or siblings
- CHD Community support
- Honoring Local Heart Heroes
- Mended Little Hearts of Puget Sound “Bravery Bag” assistance
- Funding of CHD Awareness Education and CHD community needs
We hope to help provide some financial relief to college-aged CHD patients and/or siblings affected by a CHD. We know the grueling toll and stress that is brought on home life and family time throughout their lives of living with Heart Defects, and we hope to provide a bit of relief for them in honor of Jacob.
Just like other college students, many CHD patients may fear going out on their own. But these young adults not only worry about the educational aspects of their future, but also the medical. We’ve seen the tremendous amount of stress this adds to this transitional time.
